Adele Becomes Dance Music Muse At Tomorrowland Festival

David Guetta, Kaskade , Steve Angello talk to MTV News about why they could not get enough of the Brit VMA -nominated ' Rolling in the Deep".

Now in its seventh year, the Tomorrowland Festival kicked off again in Boom, Belgium, this past weekend, and MTV News was there for the whole show.

The dance music event started small, but over the years has exploded into one of the festivals of electronic music’s most popular dance of existence. The Tomorrowland of 2011 had a fairytale theme and consists of 14 stages with colorful dresses , which included as huge replicas of mushrooms and trees set pieces ; even two stages was dominated by a skull , and a large sun . TL accommodated 30,000 campers in their arguments “Dreamville " , bringing the total consumption for the weekend to more than 180,000 , a figure that surpassed Ultra Music Festival in Miami. (And what American holiday can claim a Church of Love, where couples are encouraged to get some quality time ...?)

But perhaps what set this colossal European festival apart from others this year was the great wonder flown talent for it. Brands like Blockbuster dance music David Guetta , Swedish House Mafia and Tiƫsto shared headlining duties with Belgian heroes Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and 2manydjs ( brothers Stephen and David Dewaele of Soulwax fame) .

And if there was a recurring theme that played out over the course of three days, especially on the main stage, was that the world of dance music has love for the seven-time nominee Adele VMA. The remixes of British soul singer "Rolling in the Deep" were as varied as the artists themselves. Voices a cappella Adele appeared in too many sets to count.

Swedish sensation Avicii dropped his " Nothing Without Adele " bootleg ; Swedish House Mafia played the Thomas Gold / Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers / Axwell mash -up "Blow Up in the Deep" ; Laidback Luke partitioned John Legend cover Adele ; Kaskade unleashed and " Rolling in the Deep " from Feenixpawl remix, just to name a few. The biggest stars of dance music had clearly found their muse in Tomorrowland.

According to some of the producers we caught up with the TL , we should come as no surprise that Adele is for multiple Moonmen .

"Everybody loved it," producer Kaskade based in Los Angeles told us after a whole “of fans to the electronic pop fans for fans of country music.’s An amazing song, it is very well written and very Remix power. "

"She's so special, so different from anything”, the French superstar Guetta offered. “[' rolling in the Deep’] is amazing. To tell you the truth, but it was also a kind of inspiration for me when I was producing my record with Sia," he said of the “Titanium" track on their upcoming Nothing Beat that. "It's totally different, but it's just a state of mind and the use of acoustic elements and mixes it with my style, of course. I was listening to your records and thinking that I would love to introduce a mood like this. "

SHM Steve Angello, said: "It's one of those songs She is an amazing artist and she has a very strong voice and obviously that means she was singing If you think about it , most of the artists out there . . Get a record and just go there and record it - they do not know what it is do not give a shit - . . But Adele, mean it she’s the big f - ing real, and you can tell. " .

Chuckie, Hardwell and Norman Doray were also among the Tomorrowland performers documented playing elements song charts Adele.

And while Adele - spinning headliners he captured the main stage, there were some equally stellar supporting acts between lines 469 Depth: Richie Hawtin, Afrojack, Wolfgang Gartner, Steve Aoki, Nervo, Sander Van Doorn, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Fedde Le Grand and Martin Solveig were just some of the memorable artists during the weekend.
