Complaint Against Tomorrowland Thrown Out

A Belgian judge has taken a complaint from local residents against the staging of the festival Tomorrowland dance music booming in the province of Antwerp.

Residents had claimed that an urgent decision was necessary to have about your complaint, but the judge ruled that the neighbors had created urgency.

Antwerp The judge noted that the complainants had heard of the plans for the festival since last December and had waited for three months before taking any legal action. Thus, it is the residents who had created the urgency, the judge ruled.

Residents say the festival is very harmful and demanded a blanket ban. Now they can take the matter to a civil court for the matter to be examined in detail, but failure can then just wait after the party has been staging.

Tomorrowland celebrates its tenth anniversary with the staging of two weekends of the festival in July.

Festival organizers are clearly relieved by the decision. Debby Willemsen: “We intend to talk to the seven residents who filed the complaint and invest more in the interaction with the local community.”
